GMB’s Narinder Kaur Faces Backlash After Mocking Migrant Camp Controversy

Good Morning Britain star Narinder Kaur is at the center of a heated controversy after mocking the migrant camp situation in a parody video. The video, which targets political figures like Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp and Shadow Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick, has raised plenty of eyebrows and sparked a fierce reaction from her followers.

Kaur’s video comes just after Philp visited a migrant camp in Calais, where he claimed to have been threatened with a machete and had glass thrown at him. In her own take on the situation, Kaur posted a satirical video on X (formerly Twitter) dressed in shorts and boots, holding a pink hairbrush as if it were a microphone.

Speaking into the brush, Kaur joked, “Guys, I am in northern London, and I’ve seen many natives here…50 or 60 of them, strolling around, sipping their coffees, living their best lives, and not one cop in sight.”

She continued in a mock-serious tone, “I was chatting with them, and guess what? Not one of them had a visa! They’ve got no business being here. One even approached me with a machete.”

Though she admitted she had no footage to back this up, Kaur carried on, pretending to flee the scene, shouting, “Now they’re throwing bottles at me, oh my God, they’re attacking me! Somebody rescue me!” A person behind the camera tossed bottles of water at her while she feigned panic.

At the end of the video, Kaur added, “I’m just taking the absolute p*ss out of these ridiculous, desperate videos MPs are making.”

However, not everyone found her humor funny. The video has been slammed by many of her followers on X. One user wrote, “Nice one, I’ve never seen something so unfunny in my entire life.” Another person accused Kaur of stirring up unnecessary debates by “baiting people into a race argument” while also claiming she faces racism. One follower criticized her for sounding “ridiculous” and “acting” in a way that felt out of touch. A fourth comment was particularly harsh, saying, “This is exactly why no one wants you, especially on Strictly. About as much class as a second-class stamp. Definitely unhinged.”

Kaur’s recent video comes on the heels of her earlier rant about being excluded from BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. She made her frustration clear in a separate video, saying, “I’m so raging right now with the BBC. You’ve just apologized to Robert Jenrick and taken on Thomas Skinner for the 2025 series of Strictly.”

Kaur went on to explain, “Here’s the deal: we approached Strictly, and a producer told me I was ‘too controversial’ for the show. I can live with that, but what gets under my skin is how they put on brown and black women who are quiet and don’t share their opinions. That’s what their audience likes.”

She didn’t hold back, adding, “But if you’re a brown woman with an opinion, forget it. They’ll never take you on. Meanwhile, Thomas Skinner, a proud patriot with a criminal past, gets a spot on the show. So what’s going on there?”

Kaur’s bold remarks, paired with her recent video antics, have fueled ongoing debates about racism, political correctness, and the limits of humor on social media.
