Coleen Nolan Over the Moon as She Announces She’s Going to Be a Nanny Again with Two Grandchildren on the Way

Coleen Nolan has had quite the week of joyful news, and now she’s shared something even more heartwarming with fans – she’s going to be a grandmother again. The Loose Women favorite took to Instagram to reveal that her eldest son Shane and his partner Kim are expecting a baby, and it’s safe to say she’s absolutely buzzing about it.

Posting a sweet message alongside the announcement, Coleen wrote: “I can’t actually believe this but I wanted to share with you all that I’m going to be a Nanny AGAIN! My first born Shane and his lovely partner Kim have just announced they are having a baby and I’m so excited. Wishing them all the congratulations in the world. I wonder what gender it’ll be?”

The news came hot on the heels of another family announcement – just a week earlier, Coleen’s daughter Ciara shared that she too is expecting her first baby with fiancé Maxx Innes. So with two babies on the way, Coleen’s about to become a Nanny of four, and fans are absolutely loving it, reported the Express.

Her comments were quickly filled with messages of support and excitement. Fellow Loose Women panellist Denise Welch jokingly wrote: “Stop!!! It’s not fair!!!!” One follower commented: “Oh, congratulations to them both. Two grandchildren in one year.” Another added, “Oh congratulations @iamshanenolan and Col! This is amazing! Both your kids at the same time!”

Coleen is already Nanny to little Amelia, who was born in 2016 to Shane Jr, and to a baby boy who arrived last November, born to her son Jake. So with two more grandchildren set to arrive, the Nolan family is growing quickly – and Coleen is clearly loving every second of it.

Shane, 36, and Jake, 32, are Coleen’s sons from her first marriage to actor and singer Shane Richie. Ciara, her youngest, is from Coleen’s second marriage to musician Ray Fensome. Ciara, now 24, announced her engagement to Maxx last year after a dreamy proposal during their holiday in Vietnam.

When Ciara revealed her engagement, she described it as “like a fairytale,” posting, “This happened last night. It was like a fairytale and I can’t wait to spend forever with you @maxxiness I love you xxx.”

Naturally, Coleen was overjoyed then too, sharing a proud mum moment on Instagram with a lovely photo of the couple. “Well what can I say… I’m so so delighted that @maxxinnes has asked my beautiful girl @ciarafensome to marry him. I love them both sooooo much. Miss them even more! Can’t wait to see them. Off to buy a hat.”

It’s clearly an emotional and exciting time in Coleen’s life, with back-to-back family milestones that are bringing plenty of smiles. With two babies on the way and another wedding in the pipeline, there’s a lot of love and laughter filling the Nolan household. One thing’s for sure – Nanny Coleen is going to be busier than ever, and she couldn’t be happier about it.
