Brooklyn Beckham Scores Huge Deal but Drama with His Family Just Keeps Getting Worse
Brooklyn Beckham was spotted back in London this week, shooting for what’s being described as a major fashion deal with the Italian luxury label Moncler. According to The Sun, Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz, 30, have officially signed on as ambassadors for the brand, marking a big moment in their careers.
Though the couple are based in the US, Brooklyn happened to be filming for the campaign on Monday just a short distance from his father David, who was attending the Chelsea Flower Show. With rumours of ongoing family tensions swirling, the close proximity did not go unnoticed.
“It’s a huge deal for him. Brooklyn is a great model and knows how to turn it on for the cameras,” a source told the paper. “Working with Nicola on this campaign is really exciting for Brooklyn too. They love working together and think this Moncler campaign is very chic.”
However, the source added, “But it strikes a chord knowing how close in distance Brooklyn was to David given how tense their relations have been recently. Brooklyn was filming five minutes away by car.”
The Standard contacted a representative for Brooklyn for comment, though no response has yet been reported.
Speculation about a Beckham family rift has been growing, especially as fans continue to point out that Brooklyn and Nicola appear to have distanced themselves from recent family events and skipped key milestones online. Posts that would usually feature heartfelt messages or celebratory comments have been noticeably absent.
Still, Victoria Beckham made a public gesture to include her eldest son last week. She posted a warm family photo on her Instagram Story to mark her father Tony Adams’s birthday, which featured Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper posing with their grandparents. “We both love you all so much!” she wrote in the caption, tagging all of her children. Brooklyn was also included in another photo Victoria shared on Sunday as part of the celebrations for Tony turning 78.

But behind the smiles in those posts, the reported drama hasn’t fully disappeared. Tensions between Brooklyn and his younger brother Romeo have reportedly worsened since Romeo started seeing Kim Turnbull, who previously dated one of Brooklyn’s close friends, Rocco Ritchie. According to TMZ, Brooklyn is wary of Kim’s intentions, and it’s even claimed that he and Nicola now avoid any family events where she might be present.
While the Moncler campaign signals a big win professionally for Brooklyn and Nicola, it seems the family dynamics behind the scenes are still a bit frosty. Whether this stylish new chapter brings the Beckhams closer together or drives them further apart is something only time will tell.
