“EPSTEIN introduced MELANIA TRUMP to TRUMP”: FBI document contradicts Melania Trump’s account

A newly surfaced FBI document appears to challenge a recent statement by Melania Trump about how she first met Donald Trump and whether Jeffrey Epstein had any role in their introduction.

Last week, Melania Trump issued a public statement denying any personal relationship with Epstein and rejecting claims that the disgraced financier introduced her to the future president. The statement came unexpectedly and drew attention because it addressed allegations that had recently resurfaced online.

In that statement, she said she met Donald Trump “by chance, at a New York City party in 1998,” adding that the meeting was “documented in detail in my book, MELANIA.”

Soon after, Paolo Zampolli, a former modeling agent and longtime associate of Donald Trump, publicly supported her account. Zampolli said he was the one who introduced the couple and dismissed the Epstein claim as “nonsense.”

However, a 2019 FBI interview summary involving a witness appears to present a different version of events.

According to the document, a woman from Poland who said she worked for Epstein in the mid-2000s told investigators that Epstein himself introduced Melania Trump to Donald Trump.

“EPSTEIN introduced MELANIA TRUMP to DONALD TRUMP,” the FBI summary states. The line appears in the report written by a special agent whose name was redacted.

The witness also made additional claims during the interview regarding Zampolli. In the report, the witness alleged that “the agent” referenced in the interview, believed to be Zampolli based on context, had an “affair” with her and was involved in business discussions connected to Epstein.

“[Redacted] had an affair with the agent. ZEMPOLI was trying to buy Elite Models with EPSTEIN,” the report states.

The document also claims Epstein visited Zampolli at a modeling agency during casting auditions.

“EPSTEIN was visiting ZEMPOLI at the agency when there were casting auditions for models. EPSTEIN was looking through portfolios and saw [Redacted’s] photograph of her wearing only swim bottoms.”

The report refers to Elite Model Management, a well-known French modeling agency that once represented Ivanka Trump during her early modeling career.

Melania Trump’s statement last week also addressed a separate detail involving Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell. Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for child sex trafficking.

In her statement, Melania Trump appeared to acknowledge sending a 2002 email to Maxwell that was later reported publicly. The message, sent from an account identified as “Melania,” complimented Maxwell on her appearance in a New York Magazine article.

She characterized the exchange as “casual correspondence.”

Neither Donald Trump, Melania Trump nor Paolo Zampolli faces any criminal charges related to the claims described in the FBI interview summary. The witness statements included in the document have not been verified by investigators.
