Prince Harry Fuming Over Charity Drama as Claims of Hostile Takeover Rock Sentebale
Prince Harry is said to be absolutely livid after stepping away from his long-time charity, Sentebale, in what he reportedly sees as a hostile takeover of the organization he helped build nearly two decades ago.
According to Daily Mail royal editor Rebecca English, the Duke of Sussex has been spending hours on the phone from California, fuming to close allies and supporters about how things have unraveled since his departure in March. The charity, which Harry co-founded with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in 2006 to support children affected by HIV and AIDS in southern Africa, is now facing questions about its future.

Rebecca shared that Harry is “utterly devastated,” and has been “raging about a ‘hostile takeover’ of his ‘life’s work.’” The tone behind the scenes has apparently turned sharply bitter, with tensions running high over who’s now in control of the organisation.
Things became even more dramatic when Dr Sophie Chandauka, the chair of Sentebale’s board, publicly accused the prince of bullying, harassment, and misogyny. These serious claims were made as part of the fallout between Harry and the charity’s leadership.
A source close to the Duke didn’t hold back, telling Rebecca that there was “no way in hell” Harry would ever return to working with Sentebale — “or at least not while Sophie Chandauka and her new stool pigeons [new trustees] were in place.”
Despite the dramatic accusations, an investigation by the Charity Commission found no evidence of bullying, harassment or misogyny. Instead, the Commission criticised all parties involved in the messy breakdown of relationships within the organisation. It seems no one walked away from this looking particularly good.
Still, the emotional toll appears to be quite real for Harry and Prince Seeiso, who poured so much of themselves into the charity’s mission. According to Yahoo, An insider described the situation as “emotionally absolutely devastating” for both men, adding that “what’s been perpetrated over the last few months is nothing short of a hostile takeover.”

The whole affair has raised eyebrows in royal and charity circles alike. For Harry, who’s spent years carving out a new life in the US, this particular blow to something he clearly cares deeply about might be one of the most painful since stepping back from royal duties. And while Sentebale continues to operate, the damage from this public split may be hard to repair.
It’s unclear what the future holds for the charity without its famous co-founder, but one thing’s for certain — behind the scenes, this rift has shaken everyone involved.
