Meghan Fears Royals Are Plotting to Split Her and Harry as King Charles Rebuilds Bond With Son

Meghan Markle is reportedly feeling uneasy as Prince Harry makes moves to rebuild bridges with the royal family. According to RadarOnline, insiders close to the Duchess of Sussex claim she’s growing increasingly concerned that the palace might be trying to come between her and Harry — and possibly even using the threat of divorce as leverage.

“She firmly believes the royals are scheming to drive a wedge between her and Harry,” one source shared, suggesting Meghan suspects King Charles could take a page from Queen Elizabeth’s playbook, who famously helped orchestrate Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s separation back in the day.

It’s not that Meghan’s completely against making amends with the royal family — in fact, insiders say she recognises the need to repair ties. But the speed at which things are moving has reportedly left her feeling uneasy. “Meghan knows it’s wise for them to rebuild ties with the royals, but the pace of it all has left her rattled. She feels like things are slipping out of her hands, especially now that Harry’s calling the shots without checking in with her the way he once did,” the source explained.

It seems she’s worried about being pushed out of key decisions as Harry takes the reins during the reconciliation process. “She’s afraid the royals are trying to win Harry back while sidelining her in the process. She’s made it clear to him that he has to respect their partnership and not shut her out of these decisions.”

Prince Harry, for his part, appears to be making solo strides to mend fences. He’s already made public comments about wanting to reconnect and has even gone as far as sharing his official engagements diary with King Charles to help avoid any scheduling conflicts. But while that may look like a practical gesture, it’s reportedly sending Meghan’s alarm bells ringing.

“Harry’s stepped up to handle the talks himself, partly because he knows Meghan, despite his love for her, can be perceived as confrontational. But this whole situation is way outside her comfort zone, and she’s increasingly paranoid the royals are working to break them up,” said a source.

There’s a deeper fear that this renewed royal contact could come at the cost of their relationship. “She’s clinging to the hope that this doesn’t backfire and end with them manipulating him to turn on her,” one insider shared.

As the couple wade through the complex dynamics of reconciliation, the comparisons to the Queen’s stern letter to Charles and Diana are looming large for Meghan. “With old wounds still fresh, Meghan’s anxiety centers on whether history might repeat itself – and whether her partnership may once again be deemed expendable in service of royal repair,” a source added.
