Woman Comes Home Early and Catches Mum in Bed with Her Boyfriend in Shocking Betrayal

A woman has been left absolutely heartbroken after making a devastating discovery that her own mum had slept with her boyfriend while she was out of town. She’d only been away for what was meant to be a quick trip to a friend’s wedding, but ended up returning home early to find the ultimate betrayal unfolding in her own bedroom.

Sharing her experience on Reddit, the young woman explained that she had been travelling around ten hours away to attend a wedding. She’d initially wanted her boyfriend to come along, but he couldn’t make it because of work. She didn’t think much of it at the time, and simply flew solo.

The night before her flight, her mum rang her unexpectedly and said she wasn’t feeling well. “She called me sounding stuffy and tired. She had gotten sick and wanted to let me know. It was sort of random, but again, I did not think much of it,” she wrote, reported the Daily Star.

But the wedding didn’t go ahead as planned. After landing at the airport, she found out her friend had to postpone due to a serious family emergency. Rather than hanging around, she decided to head back home. She called her boyfriend several times during the journey back to let him know she’d be returning early — but got no answer.

As she made her way home, she began to feel uneasy. Her relationship with her mother had always been complicated, filled with a strange competitiveness that bordered on toxic. “My mum has been a very competitive person for as long as I’ve known her,” she explained. “She would compare our faces, bodies, hair, nails… whatever it may be. Growing up she always talked s*** about me to her friends claiming I ‘stole her style, her life, her everything.’”

Still, nothing could have prepared her for what she found when she walked through the front door.

“I heard noises coming from the bedroom,” she said. At first, she thought maybe her boyfriend had some mates over. But there was no chatting, just the sound of movement. “I softly knock on the door and open it, to find my boyfriend f***ing my mother. I was speechless and horrified. My heart sank to my stomach and I felt like everything in my life has been fake.”

She says it’s now been four days and she still can’t look her boyfriend in the eye. He hasn’t even acknowledged what happened or tried to explain himself.

Her mum, however, didn’t hold back. When confronted, she pulled her aside, away from the house, and coldly admitted: “I didn’t even like him, I just couldn’t stand the thought of you having something to yourself, especially considering you don’t deserve it.”

Now, the woman says she’s seriously reconsidering everything — not just her relationship with her boyfriend, but her entire connection with her mother.

The internet, unsurprisingly, was gobsmacked. “What’s to consider? Oh my God. Run. From both of them!” one user replied. Another added: “Cut her from your life. Most toxic person. Wow.”
