Prince Harry has wrapped up a four-day trip to the UK, where he spent time supporting charities and even reunited with his father, King Charles, for the first time in more than a year.

There, the Duke of Sussex joined a panel discussion with young people, asking them how social action has helped their mental health. Harry, now 40, is returning to California where Meghan Markle and their children, Archie and Lilibet, have remained during his UK stay. His family life on the other side of the Atlantic has kept him largely out of Britain, though he has flown back for important occasions and legal battles.

It’s only been five months since his last visit, when he appeared in court for a case against the Home Office over his security arrangements. That legal fight highlighted the difficulties Harry has faced since stepping back from royal duties, with ongoing disputes about his safety when he returns to Britain.
