Loose Women Stars in Tears as Beloved Producer Quits Amid ITV Shake Up

Some of Loose Women’s presenters have been left upset after learning their colleague and friend is leaving the show. Long-serving producer Jordan Rowley has confirmed he is moving on, and Ruth Langsford is said to be particularly emotional about the news.

Jordan has been with the daytime favorite for four years and marked his final day by sharing a heartfelt post on Instagram. He uploaded a series of photos from the set alongside some of the panellists, including Ruth, Kaye Adams and Nadia Sawalha, as he paid tribute to the “wonderful people” he had worked with, reported the Express.

Captioning the pictures, Jordan wrote: “And just like that, my final day at ITV Daytime has arrived. In my late twenties, I made the daunting decision to try my hand at an industry I’d always dreamt of working in and was lucky enough to secure the position of a runner on Loose Women.”

He went on to reflect on how much had changed since then. “Four years later I’ve worked across two of the country’s most iconic television programmes and have gone from making teas and coffees to producing my very own shows, something my younger self could only have dreamt of.”

He added: “I can’t begin to explain how amazing the last four years have been. I’ve been so lucky to work with some of the most talented people in the industry, both on and off screen and have genuinely made friends for life”.

“This next chapter is both terrifying and exciting but one that would never have been a possibility if it wasn’t for ITV and the wonderful people that I’ve worked with there. So, in the words of our Queen Adele – I’ll never learn if I never leap… and I’m off to leap x.”

The touching farewell sparked messages of support from the Loose Women family. Coleen Nolan wrote that Jordan would be missed, while Nadia Sawalha promised they would be catching up for a drink soon.

Ruth also shared a picture of the pair together on her Instagram Stories, adding: “If you love somebody, set them free! Goodbye and good luck to my lovely friend. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with you… now go fly!!”

Jordan’s departure comes as ITV confirms sweeping changes to its daytime line-up. Loose Women is being cut back from 52 weeks a year to 30, and the programme has been relocated from White City’s Celebro to a much smaller studio.

The shake-up has left some viewers and panellists worried about the future of the long-running show, which has been a staple of ITV’s daytime schedule for years.

For now, though, the spotlight is firmly on Jordan’s farewell. After starting out making teas and coffees and working his way up to producing his own shows, his exit has clearly left a mark on the cast and crew. His next step remains under wraps, but his message suggests he’s ready for a bold leap forward.
