King Charles Seen Smiling With Camilla at Balmoral as Health Concerns Grow

King Charles and Queen Camilla were spotted enjoying their summer break at Balmoral over the weekend. On Sunday, the King was seen driving himself and Camilla to a church service at Cratie Kirk. Despite his ongoing cancer treatment, he appeared cheerful, smiling at onlookers, while Camilla gave a warm wave as they passed.

The appearance comes not long after the royal couple attended VJ Day commemorations on 15 August at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire. On that occasion, Charles delivered a moving message to the nation in an audio address, marking the anniversary of the end of World War II and paying tribute to those who served.

Behind the scenes, however, concerns continue to grow over the monarch’s health. According to RadarOnline, insiders have said his condition is worsening. One source claimed Charles is aware that the “end is coming” and is struggling privately.

“He is now shuffling around with a cane – and hitting the bottle, and in particular whisky, to numb the pain and despair he feels,” the source alleged. They went on to say, “It’s a sad end for him, but as he keeps telling everyone, he is doing his best to keep a stiff upper lip.”

Buckingham Palace first confirmed Charles’ cancer diagnosis in February 2024. The Palace has been careful about releasing details of his treatment, but it is understood he has been undergoing regular therapy since then.

Despite the reports, the King’s determination to keep up public appearances has been noted. His presence at national events and his outing to Balmoral suggest he remains committed to his role even while managing his illness.
