Fears Grow for Kate Middleton After New Appearance Sparks Concern Over Cancer Battle

Worries are swirling around Kate Middleton’s recovery, with royal watchers and insiders expressing growing concern after the Princess of Wales appeared looking worryingly thin during her latest public outings.

It’s been six months since Kate shared the news that she was in remission following cancer treatment, but recent sightings have raised fresh questions about how well she’s really doing. According to RadarOnline, her frame now appears alarmingly slight – with one source even suggesting she looks smaller than her daughter, Princess Charlotte.

One insider didn’t hold back, saying, “Kate is painfully thin, and people are worried it’s a sign that she is struggling with her recovery from cancer treatment – or worse, she’s had a relapse.” The source added that while she’s pushing herself to be present for the royal family, her appearance is telling a very different story. “She’s been through so much, and she wants to be there for the royal family and do her part, but clearly she’s not well.”

It’s been claimed the Princess may have lost as much as 90 pounds, and that she’s struggling to maintain her weight amid everything she’s been through. “Word is she’s having a difficult time and has no appetite and is losing weight as a result,” the insider explained. “She’s gaunt and has little to no muscle tone. Kate always had an athletic figure, but she’s far from it now.”

They added, “She’s been through an arduous journey. Chemotherapy is no walk in the park. It’s left its mark on her.”

Dr Gabe Mirkin also weighed in on what Kate’s current appearance might indicate. Speaking to the outlet, he said, “Kate is severely underweight at around 90 pounds, 19 months after abdominal surgery, cancer, and chemotherapy. This severe weight loss can be caused by the chemotherapy itself, not eating enough because she doesn’t feel very well, or treatment failure for her cancer.”

He also warned that being so underweight could actually interfere with the body’s own ability to fight off the illness. “The severe loss of fat, muscle, and bone can interfere with her own immunity’s ability to cure the cancer,” he said.

Kate began her cancer treatment in March 2024, following abdominal surgery. Since then, she has largely remained out of the public eye, with only a few appearances this year, and each one drawing plenty of attention and speculation.

With three young children to care for and the eyes of the world constantly on her, it’s clear the pressure hasn’t let up – even while she’s trying to heal. While there’s been no official word from the Palace on her current condition, concern continues to mount as fans and experts alike hope for better news in the months ahead.
