Prince Harry and King Charles Peace Talks Could Leave Prince William Out in the Cold

As Prince Harry and King Charles edge closer to patching things up, one royal expert has warned that this unexpected thaw in their relationship might come at a cost – and it could be Prince William who ends up sidelined.

According to The Sun, royal commentator Matt Wilkinson believes this new closeness between the King and the Duke of Sussex could put William in a tough spot. “If they can get the King onside then they can isolate William,” Wilkinson explained. “Divide and rule.”

While the public story so far has been about healing old wounds, the dynamics within the royal family are anything but simple. William, still waiting for a proper apology from his younger brother, isn’t exactly rushing to join in the family hug. Wilkinson says he’s in a much better headspace these days, no longer fuming with rage, and is simply getting on with things – but that doesn’t mean he’s forgotten or forgiven.

It’s Harry who appears to be making the moves now, reaching out to his father in what Wilkinson described as “love-bombing” efforts. Whether it’s heartfelt or strategic, King Charles has clearly not slammed the door on his youngest son. The door to reconciliation is still ajar, and while Charles hasn’t thrown away the key, the question is whether William feels like he’s being left outside.

Wilkinson pointed out that while Harry is the one making headlines for trying to reconnect, it’s actually William who’s been the one making meaningful gestures over the years – despite the heavy silence and deep rift. “Let’s not forget it has been his older brother who has consistently made big gestures,” he said.

So while all eyes are on Harry and Charles mending their strained bond, there’s growing speculation that William might be the one caught in the middle – not because he wants to be difficult, but because he’s sticking to his principles.

As the royal reconciliation drama unfolds, it seems the road to peace in the House of Windsor may not be wide enough for all three to walk down together.
