Colombian Influencer “La Traviesa” Found Dead After Stabbing as Police Probe Boyfriend’s Story
Colombian influencer Estefanía Restrepo Valencia, known online as “La Traviesa,” has died after a brutal stabbing that’s now being investigated by local authorities. She was only 26.
According to multiple Colombian outlets, including El Colombiano, Estefanía was rushed to the emergency room at Las Vegas Hospital in Medellín late on October 17. Her boyfriend reportedly brought her in with multiple knife wounds to her neck and arm. Despite doctors’ efforts, she died shortly after arriving.
Police in the Aburrá Valley have since launched a full investigation into her death. They interviewed her boyfriend and examined her body while working to piece together exactly what happened in the hours before she was attacked.
Her boyfriend allegedly told authorities that they were driving along a highway in Caldas — a small municipality just outside Medellín — when two people approached them in what he described as an attempted robbery. He claimed the attackers tried to steal their belongings and stabbed Estefanía during the struggle.

That version of events is now under scrutiny. Local police are reviewing surveillance footage and phone data to verify his story, comparing the nature of Estefanía’s wounds with what he told investigators. So far, authorities haven’t confirmed whether they’ve identified any suspects or found evidence supporting his claims.
Police have not publicly commented on the boyfriend’s current status in the investigation, but PEOPLE reached out to the Metropolitan Police of the Aburrá Valley for confirmation.
Known as “La Traviesa,” Estefanía built a loyal fanbase through her humor and personality on social media. She had more than 218,000 followers on Facebook and 28,000 on TikTok, where she posted funny skits, livestreams, and relatable content that made her one of Medellín’s most recognizable online figures.

Tragically, her last Facebook post went up just hours before the incident. Fans have flooded the comments section with disbelief and heartbreak, remembering her as warm, funny, and full of life.
“She always made us laugh,” one follower wrote. “I can’t believe this happened to her.” Another added, “We just saw her post this morning. It feels unreal.”
As police continue their investigation, questions remain about what really happened that night on the Caldas highway — and whether Estefanía’s boyfriend’s story will hold up under closer examination.
Her death has rocked Colombia’s influencer community, sparking a wave of grief and speculation online. Friends and fellow creators have called for justice, urging authorities to find the truth behind the young woman’s tragic end.
