As white supremacy gains traction in the United States, conservatives dismiss it as fiction while discussing delusions they have constructed. Whoopi Goldberg has a platform like ‘The View’ where she can definitely discuss critical issues like this one. Last weekend, one of the most important stories and tragedies of the year was a new mass shooting fueled by a spurious ‘white replacement theory’, as per Decider.
But, according to Goldberg, this so-called theory is completely false, and she wishes to challenge everyone who tries to make sense of it. During the most recent episode of ‘The View,’ a defiant Whoopi demanded that every single white person who supports this idea blow up.
This is what she said: “If you can send me proof that you have been replaced or 10 people you know have been replaced by me, or any of the Black and brown or the Jewish people you know – you have to explain where they went, okay? Because when you replace something, you have to put something else. Where did everybody go? It doesn’t make any sense!
“When white people are saying that they’re afraid of being replaced, let’s just say it’s true. What are you afraid of? But it’s not. Don’t say it’s true. The fear is that they’re not going to be in the country.
That, you don’t want to talk about! None of it makes any sense. You’re trying to make sense out of something that makes no sense. Get over it! You’re not being replaced. You have to stick to this country just like the rest of us!”
Tucker Carlson is one of the news anchors who is promoting this theory on his own platform. He failed badly to distance himself from accusations of utilizing this idea to encourage confused and hateful white people. Although he uses different terms, it’s clear that he is the one propagating this so-called idea.
What must happen for Fox News to stop him from spewing such nonsense? While they devise a strategy to stop Tucker, these shootings will continue, and white people will believe they are being supplanted. Is Whoopi Goldberg correct in her views?
