Jill Biden Heckled by Unknown Bystanders at Connecticut Ice Cream Shop: ‘Your Husband is the Worst’

During a national summer learning tour, First Lady Jill Biden visited Connecticut, where hecklers shouted criticism of her husband, President Joe Biden.

On Wednesday, as Jill Biden entered a Connecticut ice cream store, she was heckled by unknown bystanders.

As she entered the Arethusa Farms ice cream shop in New Haven, a guy shouted at Biden, “Your husband is the worst President we ever had, you owe us gas money.”

“Thank you! Thank you for your support, thank you!” Biden responded with a smile and a wave.

A second heckler then shouted at Biden, “You suck!”

As part of a national summer learning tour highlighting the learning loss children experience as a result of coronavirus lockdowns, Biden was in Connecticut along with Education Secretary Miguel Cardona and Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont.

“Discovered today that @FLOTUS and I share two common loves: teaching kids and ice cream,” Lamont tweeted along with pictures from the visit to the shop.

Arethusa Farms posted on Instagram that the company was “extremely honored and humbled” by Biden’s visit.

As per Foxnews, Biden paid the visit the day before the White House revealed that her husband, President Joe Biden, tested positive for the coronavirus after returning from a trip to the Middle East.

“This morning, President Biden tested positive for COVID-19,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a written statement on Thursday. “He is fully vaccinated and twice boosted and experiencing very mild symptoms.  He has begun taking Paxlovid.

Consistent with CDC guidelines, he will isolate at the White House and will continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time.  He has been in contact with members of the White House staff by phone this morning, and will participate in his planned meetings at the White House this morning via phone and Zoom from the residence.”
